Challenge Complete: The Vintage Cover Scavenger Hunt 2016

Successfully finished the Vintage Cover Scavenger Hunt 2016 hosted @ My Reader's Block. Read 14 Golden Age Mysteries for the challenge.

1. A Town Scene: Murders in Praed Street by John Rhode

The woman, with her ghostly pallor, seems more frightening.

  1. What I like about your choices, Neeru, is the variety in style of the covers you have here. Well done

    1. Thanks Margot but they were not deliberate choices. I just read them and then tried to find if there was an object on the cover that fitted the bill. Thank God, Bev gave us plenty to choose from.

  2. I have been meaning to read Case for Three Detectives and Trent's Last Case for a long time. Maybe in 2017. All of these look interesting.

    1. Case for Three Detectives is good both in its mystery and humour. I didn't like Trent's Last Case but others do like it a lot. Looking forward to your views on them.

  3. Thanks so much for playing along with me! Great covers.

    1. Thanks Bev for hosting the challenge, year after year.
